About VWO
VWO is a leading Digital Experience Optimization platform trusted by over 3,000 businesses in 100+ countries, including global brands like Samsung, Vodafone, Toyota, HBO, and Domino's. What began 15 years ago as one of the world’s first A/B testing tools has since evolved into a comprehensive, enterprise-grade platform used by product, marketing, and growth teams to experiment, personalize, analyze behavior, and build exceptional digital experiences.
Today, VWO offers a full-stack suite for A/B testing, multivariate testing, feature rollouts, heatmaps, session recordings, behavioural analytics, surveys, personalization, and more across web, mobile, and server-side applications — all in one unified platform. We enable teams to make confident, data-driven decisions that drive user engagement, retention, and conversion.
VWO is a profitable, founder-led business with $50M+ ARR, strong EBITDA margins, and a history of capital-efficient, sustainable growth. In January 2025, Everstone Capital acquired a majority stake in the company to help accelerate our global expansion — both organically and inorganically.
We are a fully remote team of 450+ people, with go-to-market teams across the Americas, Europe, and APAC, and product and engineering anchored in India. Our culture values deep thinking, fast execution, and strong ownership — with minimal bureaucracy and high autonomy. Despite our scale, we continue to operate with the agility and ambition of a startup.
Role: Full-Stack AI Engineer
We’re building category-defining GenAI automations at Wingify (makers of VWO). If you love shipping end-to-end features, obsess over performance and reliability, and want to work at the frontier of agentic systems, this is for you.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services & APIs that power GenAI features.
- Develop GenAI applications (agents, copilots, automations) end-to-end—prototype, iterate, productionize.
- Orchestrate agentic workflows (e.g., CrewAI, Autogen, LangGraph) and integrate with product surfaces.
- Implement retrieval & memory patterns (RAG, session/long-term memory, summaries) with vector/graph stores.
- Own quality in production: observability, cost/latency optimisation, evals, and safety/guardrails.
- Collaborate with design & frontend to deliver crisp UX (React), and with product to shape the roadmap.
What you’ll bring
- 2 -4 years of professional software experience, with a backend focus and solid full-stack instincts.
- Strong in Python (and/or Node.js/TypeScript), REST/GraphQL, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs/GenAI into applications (OpenAI/Anthropic or open-source models).
- Familiarity with observability & eval tools like Langfuse, LangSmith, Arize, or similar platforms for monitoring, tracing, and evaluating GenAI systems.
- Practical knowledge of data & infra: Postgres/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis/Memcached, Kafka, Nginx, Docker.
- Working familiarity with React and modern frontend workflows.
- Solid engineering fundamentals: testing, code quality, CI/CD, and debugging complex systems.
Bonus points
- AI developer tooling: LangSmith/LangFuse, Weights & Biases, prompt/version management, eval harnesses.
- Memory management expertise: vector/graph stores (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate), chunking/recall strategies, hybrid search, context-window optimisation.
- Model orchestration & serving (OpenAI/Anthropic + local models), embeddings, safety/guardrail tooling.
- 0→1/startup experience; product sense and customer empathy.
Why join us
- Impact at speed: Operate like a startup inside an established company—own problems, ship fast, see real user impact.
- Cutting-edge work: Build agentic systems and production GenAI apps that automate meaningful workflows.
- Growth & autonomy: End-to-end ownership, direct exposure to customers, and the freedom to experiment.
- Great peers: A small, senior team that values craftsmanship, clarity, and outcomes.
