Location: Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid)
We're looking for a Pre-sales Solutions Consultant to support our growth in Japan. This is a Hybrid role where you'll partner with the Sales team to convert prospects into customers while also working closely with existing customers to drive product adoption, retention, and long-term success.

What You'll Do
Pre-Sales & Solution Consulting
- Partner with the regional Sales team throughout the sales cycle to help prospects successfully evaluate our product.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, business challenges, and technical requirements.
- Design and manage Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that showcase our products’ capabilities.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and solution presentations.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires.
- Recommend solutions using existing product capabilities while identifying opportunities for product enhancements when required.
Customer Success & Product Adoption
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers after implementation, helping them maximize value.
- Conduct regular business reviews and consultation sessions aligned with customer use cases and business objectives.
- Drive product adoption, customer engagement, retention, and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with customers to develop optimization strategies and share best practices.
- Identify risks early and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success.
Technical Expertise
- Apply your understanding of web technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (mandatory), to support customer implementations and troubleshoot technical questions.
- Working knowledge of backend technologies, APIs, and mobile applications is a strong advantage.
- Translate technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Communicate proactively with Sales regarding opportunities, technical blockers, and customer feedback.
- Support customers through email, chat, virtual meetings, phone calls, and occasional in-person engagements.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate customer records and opportunity updates in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Track customer interactions, PoC progress, and success metrics.
- Work in a performance-driven environment with clearly defined goals focused on customer success and business growth.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management within a B2B SaaS company.
- Experience supporting enterprise or strategic customers throughout both pre-sales and post-sales journeys.
- Experience conducting product demonstrations, managing PoCs, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS (mandatory).
- Familiarity with APIs, backend technologies, and mobile applications is a plus.
- Strong consultative, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with international customers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Product certifications or equivalent technical credentials are preferred.
Language Requirements
- Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
